The leader of the so-called “DNR” Denys Pushylin said that on the site of the Azovstal steel plant, which the occupiers are trying to wipe off the face of the earth, they want to make a techno park or just a park area.

Details: The leader of the militants also said that Mariupol “will be rebuilt with an emphasis on the resort business.” Pushylin expressed hope that Russia would help the occupying authorities in this.
Earlier, the leader of the “DNR” said he planned to make the resort out of Mariupol, destroyed by the Russians.
Mariupol City Council said that the “DNR” plans to demolish Azovstal.
The city authorities explain such actions of the occupiers by the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will soon have enough power to reoccupy Mariupol, so “the Russians are preventively destroying an important industrial complex for Ukraine,” and want to erase any reminder of the heroic deed of the Ukrainian military.
Mariupol City Council emphasizes that the occupiers are not interested in the restoration and development of Mariupol, because for them it is only a territory for the corridor to Crimea.
At the same time, the city authorities remind that Azovstal is a unique full-cycle metallurgical complex that provided employment for 10,000 people, billions of dollars in foreign exchange earnings and taxes, 7,000 tons of high-quality steel, 6 million tons of cast iron, and 4.5 million tons of rolled metal.
