Russia’s actions in Ukraine show signs of genocide

Addressing his compatriots, Polish President Andrzej Duda said that the actions of Russia and its occupying forces in Ukraine show signs of genocide.

Comment: Polish President Andrzej Duda:

“They are shelling residential buildings, apartment buildings, schools and hospitals. The actions of Russian troops bear the hallmarks of genocide. I believe that they will not go unpunished and that those responsible will be held accountable before international tribunals. ”

The President of Poland also said that today Kyiv, like the whole of Ukraine, has become a symbol of a free world that upholds our common values – freedom, sovereignty and democracy. He also stressed that “today Polish opinion has been accepted by most Western countries”, pointing out that until recently Poland was criticized in Europe for allegedly being too rigid about the need to curb Kremlin aggression.

Comment: Polish President Andrzej Duda: “We stand for Ukraine in its quest to become a member of the European Union. As part of NATO, we provide concrete assistance to Ukraine, which is defending itself. Poland has already received more than half a million refugees fleeing the tragedy of war. ”
