The British newspaper The Times reports that at least three assassination attempts have been made on President Zelensky over the last week. They sent different groups to assassinate him – “the Wagnerians” and the Chechen special forces. They suffered losses during their attempts and, according to the newspaper, were alarmed at how accurately Ukrainians predicted their actions.
A source close to “the Wagnerians” said it was “terrible” – especially the well-informed security service of Zelensky.
On March 1, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council stated that Ukraine had received information about the assassination attempt on Zelensky from FSB officials who did not want to take part in the war.
