“Allowed to shoot at civilians”: Russia wanted to capture Kharkiv in three days

The SBU released a video of a captured Russian occupier. He admitted that the occupiers had a specific goal – to capture Kharkiv and kill civilians. According to him, the management gave three days for this, and the stories about the training are lies.

The captured occupier admitted that he did not go to study, but to capture Kharkiv and kill civilians.

Comment: Chief of the RF Army platoon

“There was a command to capture the city, occupy all major roads, block civilian exits and occupy Kharkiv. There was also permission to open fire on civilians and all city residents.”

Fortunately, Russia’s plans did not materialize. The prisoner said that only he and one other soldier survived. To escape, they decided to surrender. If they managed to capture Kharkiv, their troops would have to advance deep into Ukraine and occupy other cities.
