Russian invaders have once again committed an act of nuclear terrorism. On the evening of March 10, they fired on a nuclear research facility – the nuclear subcritical installation “Neutron Source, based on a subcritical assembly controlled by a linear electron accelerator.” It is located at the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology.
“According to preliminary information, the Source of Neutrons is completely de-energized and there are superficial damages to the building. This list of damages is not complete at this time. At this time, the staff of the Source of Neutrons are clarifying information about the consequences of the damage,” the State Inspectorate for Nuclear Regulation of Ukraine said.
