The Russians blew up part of the ammunition near  the 1st Unit of Zaporizhzhya NPP


According to the Energoatom press service, the Russian occupiers blew up part of the ammunition near Unit 1 of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, which they seized.

The explosion took place at the site of the nuclear power plant. Fortunately, there was no personnel under the blasting in the workplace.

“Rashist idiots blew up some of the ammunition on the site of the Zaporizhzhya NPP near the ruins of the training center and the 1st power unit. And they’re planning to go on carrying out explosions at Europe’s largest nuclear facility. During the blowing up, personnel left their jobs, “the message says.

At present, it is unknown whether this situation affected the radiation background at the nuclear power plant.

As we know, the occupiers captured the Zaporizhzhya NPP on March 4. On March 10, Energoatom reported that Ukrainian personnel was working at all six ZNPP power units, but the station’s management was supposed to coordinate all technical issues with the occupiers. Employees of the station are under severe psychological pressure from the occupiers.
