97 children died because of the Russian war against Ukraine

During the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, as of the morning of March 15, 97 children were killed and more than 100 were injured, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The bombings and shelling reportedly damaged more than 400 schools, 59 of which were completely destroyed. In addition, the occupiers fired on 11 medical institutions and 3 rehabilitation centers, including for children with disabilities.

The agency noted that these figures are not final due to the lack of opportunity to inspect the scene where the aggressor country is active in hostilities and in the temporarily occupied territories.

Comment: “The largest number of victims (children, ed.) Is in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Zhytomyr regions. At least five children are killed in the shelling every day, “the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement.
