Captive since the beginning of the war: what is happening to the workers of the occupied Chernobyl nuclear power plant

The situation is difficult, but the guys are holding on.

Employees of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which was seized by the Russian occupiers on the first day of the full-scale invasion, have been working without change for four weeks and eating only once a day.

Denys Dedyukhin, a resident of Slavutych and the son of a ChNPP employee, told about it on the air of “Social”.

According to the man, the Chernobyl employees who were captured by the occupiers are under constant psychological pressure, but the guys hold on and do not succumb to provocations. He also noted that none of them took the so-called “humanitarian” from the occupiers.

As for communication, it is periodic, but only landline – everyone’s mobile phones were stolen. In addition, according to the man, employees of the station eat once a day – from those stocks that were in the dining room of the state enterprise.
