Forty-six volunteers from the Chernobyl NPP went to replace the evacuated personnel. The State Specialized Enterprise “Chernobyl NPP” reports it.
“During this day, 64 people were evacuated: fifty Chernobyl shift personnel, nine employees of the National Guard of Ukraine ( eight women, and one cancer patient), one employee of the State Emergency Service, four stalkers,” the statement said.
The SSE Chernobyl NPP noted that the staff was at work for about 600 hours, “heroically performing their professional duties and maintaining an adequate level of safety.”
