Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmyla Denisova said that Chernihiv was completely cut off from the capital. According to her, the occupiers blew up the bridge across the Desna.
Thus, the Russian military has turned Chernihiv hostage, and locals plan to “evacuate” to the Kursk region.
According to local residents, the occupiers are compiling lists of civilians for the “evacuation” to Lgov (Kursk region of Russia).

“Today Chernihiv remains completely cut off from the capital. The occupiers bombed the bridge across the Desna, which transported humanitarian aid to the city and evacuated civilians. The city has no electricity, water, heat and almost no gas, infrastructure destroyed,” Denisova wrote.


It will be recalled that fighting and shelling in Chernihiv have not subsided since the beginning of the war. The city is on the verge of survival.
