The Russian occupiers fired on the memorial complex in Drobitsky Yar (Kharkiv region), erected on the site of the Nazi massacre of the city’s Jewish population in 1941-1942.

“Previously, shells hit the Menorah and a pedestal. Police have recorded the incident and will continue to document war crimes in the city of Kharkiv and the region. No crime committed by the Russian military in the Kharkiv region will go unnoticed by Kharkiv investigators.”
The shelling of the Drobitsky Yar Memorial Complex has been registered in the Unified Register.
The police say that the Russian army is shelling with heavy weapons “sleeping areas” of the city, where there is no military facility, queues of civilians for humanitarian aid, memorial complexes erected in memory of those killed by the Nazis during World War II.
