Comment: Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov
“Sowing will be unique, because it takes place not just in the face of armed aggression, but the purposeful policy of the Russian Federation to destroy agricultural infrastructure, because it is no secret that the strikes on oil depots that Russia has carried out over the past few days – are actually strikes Russia wants us not to sow the agricultural land that we have in our controlled territory, it wants to cause a humanitarian catastrophe in North Africa, the Arab East and other of our traditional counterparts where we supply grain, and thus create a point of geopolitical confrontation with the conditional West, “ he said.
However, the minister added that the government will support domestic farmers so that they still conduct a sowing campaign.
