The mayor of Bucha confirmed the liberation of the city from Russian troops


On March 31st, Russian invaders were expelled from the city.

Bucha Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk confirmed that the Ukrainian military had expelled the Russian occupiers from the city. The liberation of the settlement began yesterday, March 31st.

He noted that “this day will be part of the glorious history of Bucha and the entire Bucha community.”

At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine says that during the retreat from Bucha, the occupiers mined civilian buildings, infrastructure facilities and some areas within the settlement.

We will remind, on March 28th the mayor of Irpen Alexander Markushin reported that the city of Irpen in the Kiev region was liberated from the Russian occupiers and now cleaning of the city proceeds. He also noted that the Russian occupiers are still shelling the city from “Gradov”, Irpin is mined, so it is still impossible to return there, there is an evacuation.
