In the Pologi district of Zaporizhia, the Russian occupiers fired phosphorous munitions at the village. The use of phosphorus bombs is prohibited by the Geneva Convention.

This was announced by the press secretary of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Arefiev.

Comment: spokesman Ivan Arefiev:

“As a result of artillery shelling with phosphorus ammunition in the village of Novodanylivka, Pologiv district, the roof of a residential building caught fire … Units of the State Emergency Service of Zaporizhia region eliminated the consequences. No one was injured in the fire. “

Ivan Arefyev noted that the enemy is still at high risk of using missile weapons on military and civilian infrastructure throughout the Zaporizhia region, as well as the possibility of intensifying the actions of the Russian occupiers to advance to the city of Zaporizhia.

The regional state administration added that the enemy was trying to hold the occupied territory in the Pologi direction, conducting air reconnaissance with unmanned aerial vehicles, firing at Ukrainian military and local population from multiple rocket launchers, trying to seize certain settlements, but without success.
