About 200 people are missing.
The bodies of more than a thousand killed civilians were found in the settlements of Kyiv region liberated from the occupiers in a week.
This was announced on the information marathon by the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv region Andriy Nebytov.
“41 bodies were found in a day. Yesterday 996 bodies were found and examined, in a week it will be more than a thousand. I emphasize once again that these are the bodies of civilians who were killed, the vast majority killed with small arms. About 200 people are considered missing, about 300 people we have not yet identified, that is, relatives have not identified any people in these bodies, “ he said.
Nebytov said that among the dead were children.
“There are children, there are teenagers. We did not share separately, I had to take part in the exhumation – these are children aged one year and seven months,” he added.
