The city was deoccupied in early April.
Comment: “The figure we have today is 412 (deaths – ed.). But it will still be clarified at the level of investigators and experts who work without days off. This means that every third victim in the Kyiv region is from Bucha. We still count the wounded. The mass grave near the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street, 7-b, has been separated into a separate case, where a total of 117 bodies were found, including 30 women and two children, ” Mayor Fedoruk wrote on his Facebook page.
“There are killed, shot and tortured by the occupiers, there are charred bodies of civilians. There are hospital patients who could not be buried after February 24 because the Russians did not allow the funeral service to enter the cemetery. There are several guys from the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the mayor added.
According to the mayor, the main task facing the city today is to identify each victim.
