Ukrainians were detained and tortured in the Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, and Rostov regions of Russia.
This was reported in the Media Initiative for Human Rights (MIHR).
We managed to find out about this after MIHR talked to the released hostages. As a result, it became known where the Russians were taking the abducted people and what was happening there.
The abducted Ukrainians were beaten and some were tortured with electric shocks during interrogations. Fingerprints and blood were taken from all detainees for analysis.
Ukrainians did not receive any court decisions or explanations from the Russians. In addition, they were forced to sign documents with their eyes closed.
