Pavlo Volat, commander of the company of the Kastuś Kalinoŭski Belarusian battalion, died in the war in Ukraine.

During the operation to liberate the Ukrainian countryside from Russian occupation, the company commander, a serviceman of our battalion Pavlo Volat, was mortally wounded. We tried to take him to the hospital in critical condition, but it was too late.”
Details: Volat’s brothers said that he “was a real warrior-legend: he was wounded many times, but each time he cheated death and returned to service.”
According to Nasha Niva, this is the sixth Belarusian to die in Ukraine since February 2022 while fighting against the Russian occupiers.
