“Many killed and wounded” – Lyakh reports on “the largest shelling of Sloviansk in recent times”

Vadym Lyakh reported that on July 1, Russian troops shelled Sloviansk with cluster shells. Then, according to official data, four people died in the city, seven people were injured.

In total, according to the head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrilenko, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, 554 civilians have died in Donetsk region, and 1,442 people have been injured (not including the victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha).

The day before, he said that the Ukrainian authorities control 45% of Donetsk region, almost all populated areas are shelled. According to him, over the last week there has been a trend of attacks on Sloviansk.
