348 children died in Ukraine due to shelling by Russian troops – Prosecutor General’s Office

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 348 children have died due to shelling by Russian troops, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports. As of the morning of July 12, almost a thousand children were injured.

According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 348 children died and more than 650 were injured of various degrees of severity. These numbers are not final, as work is ongoing to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories,” the message reads.

It is reported that on July 11, a 17-year-old boy was killed and two boys aged 4 and 16 were injured in various degrees of severity as a result of massive shelling by Russian troops on the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv.

Also, the State Emergency Service reported that in the city of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, the body of a dead child (born approximately 2013) was pulled out from under the rubble of a house destroyed by a Russian strike yesterday.

Moscow, despite numerous testimonies and evidence, declares that it does not fire on civilians in Ukraine.
