Russian troops launched a missile attack on the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, the National Police reported on the evening of July 16.
“The enemy hit civilians twice with an Iskander-M ballistic missile. At least 27 houses were damaged. There are dead and wounded. The police have documented a war crime by Russia,” the press service reports.
Currently, law enforcement officers, rescuers, medics and explosives technicians are working on the site. Localization of the fire, which started as a result of shelling, continues.
The number of victims is now being established. The police opened criminal proceedings under the article on violations of the laws and customs of war.
