In Bakhmut, Donetsk region, rescuers removed the bodies of two dead people from the rubble of a hotel destroyed by shelling, five people were injured. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
This was announced by the spokesman of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Donetsk region, Viktor Seromakh, in a video published on the department’s Facebook page, reports Ukrinform.
“During search and rescue operations at the site of the destruction of the Atlantic Hotel, a man was found and removed from the rubble. In total, since the beginning of work, the bodies of two dead people have been found at the scene, and five people have been injured. Two more people may be under the rubble,” Seromakh said.
According to him, rescuers continue to dismantle the debris. 28 personnel and five pieces of equipment were involved in the work from the Main Department.
