The situation in Bakhmut is worsening, shelling is increasing

In Bakhmut, due to constant shelling by the Russian army, the situation is worsening, but currently remains under control, said the deputy mayor of Bakhmut, Oleksandr Marchenko.

Comment: (Olexandra Marchenko) “The situation is getting worse. More and more shelling. Three civilians were killed in the past day. Four houses burned down. In the morning, there was shelling again. There is water supply. But due to the shelling, repair crews eliminate network surges every day.

Marchenko added that there is no electricity supply in part of the city. Due to constant shelling, repair crews cannot go to the place of damage.

According to the deputy mayor, the shelling destroyed an enterprise that takes garbage to the landfill. At the moment, a replacement vehicle has already been prepared, as all the garbage cans in the city were completely full within a week.
