The Russian occupiers threaten to blow up the Zaporizhzhya NPP

The Russian occupiers claim to mine the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and threaten to blow up the facility. This was reported by the operator of the Energoatom nuclear power plant.

The press service of the enterprise refers to the statement of the head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense forces of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Vasiliev.

He declared that the station would be “either Russian land or a scorched desert.” According to the occupier, the Russian military has no other way but to blow up the station.

The representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Andrii Yusov confirmed the day before that the Russians had mined the power units of the Zaporizhzhya NPP. In intelligence, such actions are called “nuclear blackmail”.

The Insider, referring to its source, wrote that the Russians probably replaced the machine room of one of the power units of the ZANP. And according to another source of the publication, the territory around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant was mined.
