Quote from Energoatom: “Today, 11 August 2022, the Russians once again attacked the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, the largest one in Ukraine and Europe. Five strikes were observed in the area of the station’s command post, right next to the welding area and the storage of radiation sources.

Grass caught fire in a small area, but luckily no one was hurt. However, the occupying forces did not stop there.

Five more strikes occured in the area of the fire department, which is located near the ZNPP.”

Details: As a result of the attack on the plant, it was not possible to change shifts in time. To keep the nuclear workers safe, the buses bringing the staff for the next shift turned back to Enerhodar. The workers of the previous shift will continue to work until the situation gets back to normal.
