Russian forces hit Kramatorsk: civilian casualties

On the evening of 12 August, Russian forces carried out a strike on the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast, hitting a private residential neighbourhood.

Quote: “A strike on Kramatorsk. Once again, the private residential neighbourhood [has been hit].

Early reports indicate there are casualties.”

Details: Later on, the Head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, reported that two civilians had been killed and 13 injured in the Russian attack on Kramatorsk.

The attack damaged at least 20 buildings and caused a fire in the residential neighbourhood.

Law enforcement officers and rescue workers are working on the scene.
