Russian troops hit Petro Mohyla University in Mykolaiv with rockets

Russian troops fired two rockets at the building of the Black Sea National University named after Peter Mohyla in Mykolaiv at night on August 17. This was announced by the city’s mayor, Oleksandr Sienkevych, and the head of the regional military administration, Vitaly Kim.

Comment: (Aleksandra Sienkovycha) “Racists fired at another university in Mykolaiv, our Mohylyanka. Just a few days ago, I published a video and showed that there is no military base there… And tonight, two Russian missiles flew there. These are real terrorists who, hiding behind their propaganda, continue to cynically destroy our educational institutions.

He added that there was only a security guard at the university who was not injured. The house opposite the facility was also damaged. Currently, utility workers are clearing the area near the university.

Vitaliy Kim also reported that the missile hit one of the city’s enterprises. According to preliminary data, no one was injured.

Mykolaiv and the region suffer daily from Russian shelling.
