The Ukrainian military in the Zaporizhzhia region destroyed the rare radar reconnaissance and fire control complex “Zoopark-1”, reported the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with reference to the data of the operational command “South”.
“On August 19, in the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian defenders destroyed a rare example of a racist “analog gun” – the “Zoopark-1” reconnaissance and fire control radar complex and four units of automobile and armored vehicles… Accurate hitting at the specified coordinates completely disabled the equipment that allowed to adjust the fire of enemy artillery,” said the message published on August 20.
The Russian leadership, which has not provided official data on Russia’s losses in the war against Ukraine since March, did not comment on these losses.
