“Yesterday, the enemy had the task of keeping the whole of Ukraine under tension. There were up to 200 flights. They carried out many flights with simulation of missile strikes. Yesterday, eight missile strikes were carried out by Tu-22M3 long-range bombers with Kh-22 missiles. This is a Soviet missile, which is not accurate enough, but destructive,” he said on the air of the national telethon.

Yuriy Ignat explained that Ukrainian air defense forces cannot effectively counter high-speed missiles launched from aerial platforms.

Therefore, as the spokesman of the Air Force emphasized, Ukraine needs to strengthen air defense.
