Since the beginning of the week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated more than 20 settlements in the Kharkiv direction. The Ukrainian military penetrated the occupiers’ defense to a depth of up to 50 kilometers.
This was announced at the briefing by the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Gromov.
According to him, the Armed Forces, together with the National Guard and other security forces, have been active since the beginning of the week with the aim of liberating territories in certain directions. In total, in the Kharkiv and Yuzhno-Buz directions, the Armed Forces de-occupied more than 700 square kilometers of territory.
Gromov noted that in the Kramatorsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine improved their tactical position and advanced up to 2 kilometers deep. In the Slovyansk direction, the Ukrainians advanced up to 3 kilometers deep and liberated the village of Ozerne.
In addition, active actions of the Armed Forces continue in the Kherson area.
