The bodies of two civilians with traces of torture were found in a liberated village in Kharkiv region – General Prosecutor’s Office

Law enforcement officers are investigating the murder of civilians in the village of Hrakovo in the Kharkiv region, the Prosecutor General’s Office reported on September 10.

According to the report, the village was liberated on September 7. After the deoccupation, a local resident told the police that the Russian military forced him to bury the bodies of two men.

On September 9, law enforcement officers found two corpses with gunshot wounds in the back of the head and traces of torture near the territory of a private home. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the victims were killed by Russian servicemen in March during the occupation of the village,” the prosecutor’s office says.

The case was opened under the article on the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder, the procedural management is carried out by the Chuguyiv district prosecutor’s office of the Kharkiv region.

The bodies of the murdered were sent for a forensic medical examination.
