Border guards in liberated Kupyansk in Kharkiv region found five teenagers illegally held by the Russian occupiers in the basement. This is reported by the State Border Service.
The occupiers kept four girls and one boy in the basement for 7 days.
The children said that the occupiers carried out filtration measures, after which they closed it in the basement.
We will remind, on September 10, Ukrainians entered the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region and raised the Ukrainian flag over it. The city was a key transport hub for the occupiers between the territory of the Russian Federation and the city of Izyum.
The city of Izyum has already been liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi visited the city.
